Lintels are the beams, used to support rafters and purlins overhead, in a pergola or arbour. They are usually double assemblies or a larger single element. Lintel elements and pre-built assemblies (lintel elements fastened together to make a more substantial beam) are available in Cedro, Western Red Cedar or SynCore™ a low-maintenance composite.

Lintels
9" Lintels are available as single elements and pre-built double assemblies. The lintel assemblies come with a pocket to set over a structural post. Lintel elements and assemblies are supplied sanded, with eased edges and copper flashing as shown. Use Mahogany when you wish to leave the wood natural and your requirements do not exceed 12 feet in length. Use WRC when your requirements are for longer lengths or when your structure is a color. Use our composite SynCore™ when you want a white finish with low maintenance. |
