Posts are smaller than columns, typically 3-1/2 " up to 8". Posts are a basic building component for small arbours, fences, trelliscapes and other outdoor construction. At FineHouse we supply posts in a number of sizes and materials with quite a few options. Round and square posts are available with a selection of caps and bases.

The Pedestal is built similar to a square column but is used differently, either to set something upon or as the base for a column. As you look at posts, the same elevations and options often apply to pedestals. An important consideration for a long lasting post is our PostCore™ which is implanted in the larger posts and extends out the bottom to be set in an approved foundation. To learn more about advantages of PostCore™ look here.

Post with PostCore™ Sizes up to 12" Square The square post with cap and base is a standard in tasteful fences, railings and trelliswork. Specify Mahogany, Cast Composite or SynCore™. With the integral PostCore™ extending below grade, long life is assured. Available in heights up to 10ft. Available faces: smooth, fluted, paneled and rusticated.
